It is 2013 Jan in Kabokweni, Nelspruit, Mpumalanga South Africa. I made a conscious decision to change my life. In our part of the world there is not much a young black man can do to better his social and economic situation but I knew that passing my final high school year would open many doors for me.
2014 Went from Mpumalanga to Kwa-Zulu Natal, was in UKZN doing a 3 year undergraduate degree. At this point in my life I did not really know how life would be in a couple of years.
Went back home in June of 2014 and registered a private company Roco 1245 Trading (pty) Ltd. The plan was to be self empowered ,self employed and to help alleviate poverty in my province and South Africa in general.
Awareness widens the Horizon
I have always wanted to be behind a film production or to actually produce a film, the idea never left my mind. Went searching for a second hand camera with my mother this one time and I could not find one because of limited financial resources. I kept on going ,saving up so that I could one day own a camera and the equipment needed for making quality films. When I had saved up enough money I was in a different place in my life, I found myself lost in desperate despair with a blurry vision. Squandered the resources in desperate pursuit of financial prosperity, just like a drug addicted who searches for the next high. It is 2015 May, I have seen a few real business opportunities and planning on making a real viable business venture under the Roco 1245 company name.
